Step 1:
Open Outlook and click Tools, then click Accounts.
Step 2:
First, Click the Mail tab at the top. Then click, and highlight mail.yourdomain.com. This is to change the properties of the previous mail that you had set up. Once it is highlited press properties.
Step 3:
When this screen comes up click on Add and then select Mail.
Step 4:
a. Next make sure you are on the General tab.
b. Fill in the name you would like to call this particular setup of this e-mail in the "Mail account" box, e.g "Work"
c. Fill in your name in the "Name" box.
d. Organisation is optional.
e. Fill in mail.y.co.za in the "Internet Mail Server" box.
f. Fill in your full e-mail in the "E-mail address" box.
g. Only fill in the "Reply address" box if the reply to e-mail is different.
h. Then click the "Servers" button.
Step 5:
a. Fill in smtp.y.co.za in the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" box.
(Use the SMTP details provided by your service provider if not using Y Dial for this)
b. Fill in mail.y.co.za in the "Incoming mail (POP3)" box.
c. Fill in your full E-mail address in the "Account name" box.
d. Fill in password that hase been issued to you by Y Dial or your service provider.
e. Then click on the Connection tab.
Step 6:
a. Select the "Connect using my phone line" radio button.
b. In the "Use the following Dial-up Networking connection" box select the dialup that has already been set up by you.
c. Click on the OK button.
Step 7:
To get your E-Mail, simply click Send and Receive.
